Misdemeanor charges were dropped against six USC students who were arrested after a confrontation with police on May 4 outside an off-campus party. The students were facing charges for failing to disperse when 79 LAPD officers responded to a noise complaint for a party hosted by black students. Supporters say police used "selective enforcement" because officers did not arrest anyone at a party hosted by white students, which was being held across the street the same night.
