College tuition has skyrocketed in the last couple of years. It is no wonder why many students in pursuit of higher education drop out each semester or take out loans to help pay for their education. This week, the California legislature approved a bill that would help cut tuition fees to middle class students. Students whose families make less than $100,000 per year would receive up to a 40 percent cut in their tuition, and families earning less than $150,000 would receive 10. The program will be implemented in the next four years.
