Move over all you prestigious East Coast Ivy League schools (Princeton, Yale, Harvard, etc.). Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. has nabbed the No. 2 spot on Forbes magazine's America's Top Colleges list. To decide what the best colleges in the U.S. are, Forbes looked at the following criteria: student satisfaction, post-graduate success, student debt, graduation rate and nationally competitive awards.

"We’re not all that interested in what gets a student into college...Our sights are set directly on ROI [return on investment]: What are students getting out of college?" stated Forbes.

Stanford was No. 1 on the list.
