The University of Southern California now will be in charge of the 90-year-old Los Angeles Coliseum. The California Science Center passed a 5-8 vote, allowing USC to own the Coliseum and earn most of the profits for the next century.

As part of the lease agreement, USC will pay up to $1 million in rent annually to the state and will spend $100 million to improve the venue. USC will also keep the ticket and concession profits from football games and other Coliseum and Sport Arena events.
