Katy Perry's 'Roar' Dethrones Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' on Billboard's Hot 100

Katy Perry has made a big "Roar" on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Her new single has knocked Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" to the No. 2 spot while "Roar" sits at No. 1. This is Perry's eighth Hot 100 No. 1 song. Thicke was holding the top spot for 12 weeks.

"Roar" also leads Billboard's Digital Songs for a third week as well as the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart. The music video premiered on Sept. 5.

Prism, Perry's follow-up album to Teenage Dream, is scheduled to relese on Oct. 22, 2013.
