Pop Songstress Ariana Grande Reaches #1 on iTunes:
We love “The Way” Ariana Grande has been grabbing national attention! Her single with Mac Miller ("The Way") has dominated the summer airwaves, she impressed audiences at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards pre-show, and now her full-length debut album Yours Truly has hit the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart in more than 35 countries! Not bad for a 20-year-old from Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel, eh?

Avril Lavigne Set to Release Rockin’ 5th Studio Album:
This week, pop-rock superstar Avril Lavigne announced that she will be releasing her first eponymously titled album, Avril Lavigne. The album will come out on Nov. 5, but you can pre-order it on Sept. 24. Avril Lavigne will feature 13 tracks, including summer smash “Here’s to Never Growing Up” and her new single “Rock N Roll.” This will be the fifth album for the multiplatinum songstress.

Jay Z Confirms North American Magna Carter World Tour Dates:
In case you didn’t get enough of Jay Z when he toured with the talented Justin Timberlake these past few months, you can get a double dose of the rapper as he tours North America starting on Nov. 30. He will be playing at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on Dec. 6 and the Staples Center on Dec. 9. Tickets go on sale Thursday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. through livenation.com.

Super Boy Band One Direction Will Release Midnight Memories in November:
One Direction, the British pop superstar boy band that has captured the hearts of millions of teen/pre-teen girls across the globe, will release its third studio album on Nov. 25 via Syco/Columbia Records. On the album will be hit single “Best Song Ever,” which won the MTV VMA award for Best Song of the Summer. You can pre-order the album on Monday, Sept. 9 and catch the boys on tour in early 2014.

Catch Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar on Tour this Fall:
Thank you, Yeezus! Fans itching to go to a Kanye West performance can now do so, as the notorious rapper has confirmed a fall tour kicking off on Oct. 19. And here’s the icing on the cake: Los Angeles native Kendrick Lamar will be his opening act! West and Lamar will be gracing Southern California with their presence on Oct. 26 at the Staples Center. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 13.
