Community colleges are offering more classes, and their enrollment is also increasing. This is largely due to Proposition 30, which has given community colleges the funding needed to open more classes. Now, students have a higher chance of getting into classes they need to graduate, and the wait list for some classes has shortened since last year. Orange Coast College is already adding about 200 class sections, a 12 percent increase from last year. The Costa Mesa campus plans to open winter session in January in addition to summer session.
