The Jackie Robinson Stadium is home to the University of California, Los Angeles' NCAA championship baseball team. However, due to a court ruling made this summer, it may soon be considered the former home for UCLA baseball. Determined to keep its field, UCLA is arguing against the ruling.

Located on Veterans Administration property in West Los Angeles, but also near UCLA, Judge James Otero ruled on Aug. 29 that "the property should only be used to meet the healthcare needs of veterans," according to NBC Los Angeles. It was ruled that the VA invalidly leased property to certain third parties. For UCLA, if this ruling stands and if a settlement cannot be reached, the university may be forced to vacate the stadium.

Court documents reveal that the university is fighting this ruling in order to keep its beloved stadium, which it has operated for more than 50 years.
