Students at the University of Southern California experienced an interesting discussion as well as laughs Monday night when comedian Will Ferrell graced his alma mater with his presence. He and his friend, Craig Pollard, gave a talk about careers, friendship, life philosophies and "fighting on."

At one point in the night, Ferrell hilariously dressed up as Tommy Trojan and led the USC marching band on stage. Check out the video above!

Pollard wrote the business plan for his current charity, Cancer for College, while he was a senior at USC. Ferrell is one of the charity's supporters as well as its celebrity spokesman. Cancer for College provides scholarships to students and families facing the financial hardship of cancer and college.

Fight on.
