Miley Cyrus is kicking off her Bangerz tour on a very special day: Valentine's Day!

With the BANGERZ TOUR's first show taking place on this lovey-dovey holiday, it seems a little ironic, right? The "Wrecking Ball" singer and her former fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, broke off their engagement not too long ago, and Cyrus has openly admitted that Bangerz does indeed detail the end of their relationship (and just by listening to a few of the album's songs, it's quite obvious, too.).

Whether or not this kick-off date has any sort of meaning, Cryus plans to hit up 38 cities throughout the United States and Canada on her tour, including Los Angeles at the STAPLES Center on Feb. 22. Tickets for the general public go on sale Saturday, Nov. 16 (visit livenation.com for more details).

Bangerz debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and the Digital Album Charts, selling more than 270,000 albums. Cyrus' hits "Wrecking Ball" and "We Can't Stop" have already sold 4.3 million copies in the U.S. alone.
