As a school that prides itself on its ability to connect students with internship and career opportunities, USC places tremendous value on Internship Week.

From Feb. 10 to 14, the university will be hosting events on campus, where students can meet potential employers and learn about internships that fall within their career interests. Each day this week, two information sessions will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in select locations on-campus.

On Monday, it all begins with a panel discussing entrepreneurship and start-ups in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center. Companies with representatives present at this event will include BEE Smart Learning, TOMS and Plug.dj. Gaming and Software programs will be the focus of the afternoon, with companies such as Hip Traveler, Edlio Inc. and Reunify making an appearance.

Tuesday, students can attend a session regarding business, leadership and management in the Student Union building, hearing from several well-known companies, including Target, Prudential Financial, Williams-Sonoma Inc. and Macy’s. Later that afternoon, students can learn about finance, human resources and legal affairs. Many prominent companies will be featured during this session, such as AFLAC, Northwestern Mutual, Union Bank and Wells Fargo.

On Wednesday, a panel focusing on the entertainment industry in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center will feature powerful entertainment conglomerates including FOX, Paramount Pictures and Warner Music Group. Later, students will be able to learn about social media and communication from companies like BLITZ Agency and Dedicated Media.

The week will be wrapped up on Thursday in the Student Union building with companies such as Hulu, Elle Communication and Channel Factory speaking during the marketing and public relations session in the morning.  A panel regarding fundraising and development will be hosted that afternoon, featuring the Red Cross and the Downtown Women’s Health Center.
