GIFT SCAVENGER HUNT
Hide each others gifts somewhere in your home and each of you plan a mini-scavenger
hunt for the other to locate their present. Make it fun by designing each clue
to be a little rhyme, slightly obscure so the other person has to think about
where to go to find the next message.
You can start with extra large-sized clues and have them get progressively smaller
and smaller, increasing the level of difficulty with each one. If youre
feeling adventurous, write the clues very small on different hidden parts of
your body, each clue leading to another part.
Or take a picture of the gift, blow it up and then cut it into puzzle pieces.
Write a clue on each puzzle piece and watch as they put it together piece-by-piece
to see what the present is.
SEXY MOVIE MARATHON
Nothing says, "lets get it on" like watching your favorite movie stars
getting it on! Each of you picks some of your all-time favorite lusty movies
and cozy up together on the sofa. Wear something comfortable and sexy and order
in your favorite Chinese, pizza, whatever.
See how many of the sexy films you two can get through in one night. Some sensual
suggestions for the watching are Y Tu Mama Tambien, Unfaithful, Fatal Attraction,
9 1/2 Weeks, Lolita, Backdraft or pick your own favorite!
SPA NIGHT FOR TWO
You dont need to go to an expensive spa to have a romantic evening of
indulgence. Stay home and stock up on loads of scented candles, essential oils,
massaging lotions and maybe even some chilled champagne and fruit.
Start out with relaxing back, neck and shoulder massages, alternating each person
every 20 minutes until you are both relaxed and ready to move on. Run a steaming
hot bath and drizzle it with some herbal essential oils to help with breathing
and circulation. Make sure all the lights stay off so you can enjoy the flickering
candles you have sprinkled around the tub and bathroom.
Have a massage bar ready in the bath and take turns massaging each others
feet and calves while you recline on opposite sides of the tub. The contrast
of the chilled champagne and the steamy bath will put your body in ecstasy as
you savor each juicy bite of the cooled fruit.
Be sure to have plush warm robes and slippers waiting for you both as you slip
out of the bath and enjoy the rest of your night.
GET ARTISTIC
Staying home and making something fun and artistic together can be a great way
to strengthen your duos bond. Plus you both will have a souvenir to keep
and serve as a reminder of your special Valentines Day together.

can make themselves at home. Get a few ceramic picture frames and paint them
however you wish. Then take a digital photo of the two of you on your romantic
day and use it in the frames.
Whatever you choose, get your creative juices flowing and be as unique and witty
as possible. Remember, one day you will be showing these knick-knacks to your
grandkids!

COOK A ROMANTIC MEAL TOGETHER
Put on some music, chill some wine and prepare to get your hands dirty! Staying
home and cooking together is much more fun and romantic than waiting an hour
for a reservation you made two months ago and then dining at tables so cramped
together you can hear the arguing of the couple four seats down.
Try to pick a recipe that is elegant, delicious and at the same time very simple
so you dont screw it up and have to order pizza! Try this easy yet four-star
restaurant quality recipe:
Grilled Shrimp Skewers with Fresh Orzo Salad
Salad Ingredients: 8 oz. uncooked Orzo pasta, 3 T olive oil, 3 cloves of garlic
(crushed), 1 t sesame oil, 1 med. tomato (chopped), 1/2 cup scallions (chopped),
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped), 3 sprigs of fresh marjoram, 1/8 t lime zest,
juice of 1 lemon, 2 red peppers (seeded and diced), 3 T seasoned rice wine vinegar,
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Salad Directions: Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, toss in
1 T olive oil, set aside and allow to cool to room temperature. In a large bowl
combine the pasta with all remaining salad ingredients, mix well.
Shrimp Ingredients: 1 pound jumbo tail-on shrimp (peeled and de-veined), 1/8
cup olive oil, 1/8 cup unsalted butter (melted), skewers.
Shrimp Directions: Combine the melted butter and olive oil into one bowl, soak
the skewers in water until saturated, skewer the shrimp, brush with oil/butter
mixture and sprinkle with salt and pepper, grill on low using a barbecue, a
Foreman Grill, a stove top grill or lay flat in a frying pan. Cook until shrimp
are opaque, brushing occasionally with oil/butter mixture. Serve dinner with
a chilled white wine. (Recipe courtesy of Aaron Amerling, Food Writer)
PLAY A GAME WITH A TWIST
Pick your favorite game Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Go Fish, Scattergories,
Gin Rummy, Dominos any game that you both have fun playing and can be
done with two people. Before you start the game come up with some sultry rewards
for the winner of each round.
For the first round, the winner gets to pick what food is delivered for dinner
and the loser has to pay. Second round, the loser must give the winner a 20-minute
foot massage. Make the rewards as creative, silly or sexy as you want and see
where the night takes you.
MAKE MIXED CDS
Nothing strikes the feeling of old memories quite like music does. Before your
Valentines Day celebration begins, each of you makes a mixed CD for the
other as a gift. Pick songs that remind each of you how the other makes you
feel, songs that were popular when you first met, songs that played during important
moments in your relationship or songs that simply make you think about the other
person.
Order in some of your favorite take-out and put on the music as you dine together.
Now crack-open some cold champagne and toast to all the incredible memories
you have so far, and to all the amazing ones you are sure to create in the future.
