Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic, musical tale is coming to Broadway in April 2015.

"The King and I," which is slated to open April 16 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, will star Kelli O’Hara from "The Bridges of Madison County" and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe from The Last Samurai (via The New York Times).

Although "The King and I" has been revived on Broadway three times, we can rest assured that this latest production won't disgrace the original tale or feel stale or overdone. After all, director Bartlett Sher is no stranger to Rodgers and Hammerstein's work—Sher's involvement on "South Pacific" won himself a Tony in 2008.
