Breaking world records must be a "thing" among the college crowd. Last week, UC Irvine students broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest pillow fight, and across the sea, London college students decided to bring out the Halloween costumes a little bit early this year to break the record for largest gathering of people dressed as Spider-Man.

Yes, Spider-Man.

On Thursday, Oct. 2, costume store Escapade Fancy Dress in Camden, London gathered 398 college students dressed as the webbed superhero at Student Central in Britain.

Bhupendra Maisuria, Managing Director of Escapade, told ComicBook.com, "We had an overwhelming number of people come and join in to help set this new record title. It was such a fun evening that supported our student community who all put an astounding effort in to raise awareness for Help for Heroes."
