With a penchant for psychedelic arrangements and sci-fi lyrics, married couple Nikolai and Guylaine Goodich channel the spirit of many of the genre's great male/female vocalist pairings that came before them, notably Grace Slick and Paul Kantner of the Jefferson Airplane or David and Linda LaFlamme of It's a Beautiful Day. They also sound a bit like John Doe and Exene Cervenka of X (“Neon Jets to the New Jerusalem”) but Guylaine's vocals are sweet and lack the bite of an Exene track.

This album seems to be about going somewhere – to heaven, outer space or maybe inner space – only “Get Out of the Car” is obviously chained to Earth lyrically as the song recounts the ramifications of an argument. Wherever they're going they'll leave the wonderment to you – they're taking their acidified guitars and keyboards and going with self-assurance.
