These longhaired hell-raisers claim to be from Venus, a planet well known for its love of classic metal. Foghat, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull and Thin Lizzy always rocked the comely orb, so it's no surprise that singer Valient himself and his band of shape-shifters reference these Earthly riffs as they relate their Legend of the World .

Valient Thorr knows that hip aliens don't really say “Take me to your leader,” but they've got some thundering political advice anyway in the form of “Exit Strategy” and “Goveruptcy.” “Triceratops” relates how our space brothers landed after the dinos got wiped out while guitarists Eidan and Odinn Thorr shoot chunky fireballs and laser lances like they're battling with Blue Oyster Cult's “Godzilla.”

Oh sure, it's all good fun now. But what are we going to do when these guys blast back off into space with our women, leaving us with nothing but busted ear drums?
