Get cultured this weekend with your Valentine sweetie at Hauser & Wirth. Three new exhibits start today (Feb. 13 thru April 12, 2020) at its Downtown Los Angeles location in the Arts District including Lucio Fontana Walking the Space: Spatial Environments, 1958-1968; Nicolas Party Sottobosco in his first Los Angeles solo exhibit. Sottobosco conjures the shadowy world of the forest floor in a brilliant pastel universe where subject, form, and time collapse in a visual splendor; and finally,  August Sander: New Women, New Men, and New Identities, an exhibition that brings together pathbreaking portraits by the renowned German photographer with original examples of the first gay and lesbian journals ever published.

Hauser & Wirth is a vibrant communal space that links art and architecture with a dynamic events program. The onsite restaurant, Manuela is excellent and there’s a bookstore (ARTBOOK) along with an outdoor vegetable garden and chicken coop that’s fun to visit.

Hauser & Wirth is located at 901 East 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.  The space is open Tuesday - Sunday from 11AM to 6PM. Phone: (213) 943-1620.
