The largest pub crawl on the West Coast and Santa Monica's most cherished holiday fundraiser returns with the 14th Annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl, on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022 at 5 p.m. Featuring more than 25 of the city's best bars and restaurants, three routes and thousands of crawlers, this famous charity crawl brings the community together to raise money for those in need through the Westside Food Bank. Attendees dress in their finest holiday garb and receive discounted food and drink specials at popular bars such as The Victorian, Red O, The Viceroy, Circle Bar, Santa Monica Whaler, Barney's Beanery, Harvelle's, Lanea, Ashland Hill, and Ye Olde King's Head. Over the last 13 years, the SANTA Monica Pub Crawl has raised more than $160,000, enough money for half a million meals for the less fortunate over the holidays.

"There is a much stronger need for food for local families this year and Westside Food Bank has been overwhelmed by the support of the SANTA Monica Pub Crawl," says Genevieve Riutort, President & CEO of the Westside Food Bank. "The crawl has helped to raise awareness about the issue of hunger in our community while also giving people the opportunity to make a difference while having a great time. Over the past thirteen years, the Pub Crawl has donated over $160,000making it possible for Westside Food Bank to distribute more than half a million pounds of food for local families in need during the holidays."

SANTA Monica Pub Crawl participants are encouraged to dress in Santa/holiday attire so the streets of Santa Monica are filled with merry cheer. For those who forget to dress up. there are Santa hats for sale at each of the three starting locations - The Victorian on the MAIN STREET ROUTE, Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the PIER/OCEAN AVE. ROUTE, and Cabo Cantina on the PROMENADE ROUTE. An Instagram costume contest will award the crawlers (solo, couples and groups) with the most impressive holiday garb with special prizes from participating businesses. Teams over five people can sign up to participate in the Santa Scavenger Hunt to win additional prizes.

In order to participate, crawlers must purchase a wristband, choose a route, download the official map, and start at their assigned starting location. The wristband gets participants access to incredible $6-$9 food and drink specials, one complimentary beverage, priority entry into the bars, and access to Santa’s official after-party at Senator Jones with DJs, drink specials, prizes, photo booth, and an appearance from good ole Saint Nick himself. 

This year's routes have been announced and include the following locations: The Victorian, Jameson's Irish Pub, Ashland Hill, Barney's Beanery, Britannia, Cabo Cantina, Cult, Harvelle's, Lanea, Santa Monica Whaler, Stella Barra Pizzeria & Wine Bar, Ye Old Kings Head, Rusty's Surf Ranch, Big Deans, Red O, The Viceroy, Sol Agave, JuneShine, Circle Bar, The Backyard at Chez Jay, Santa Monica Whaler, Ye Old King's Head, Library Alehouse, Tavern on Main, Tipsy Chef, The Anchor, Casa Martin, & more local favorites. 

Some of this year's pub crawl specials include $2 oysters from The Anchor, Happy Hour all night from Tavern on Main, $6 beers from Library Ale House, $7.95 pizza from Stella Barra Pizzeria, and $4 slices from Joe’s Pizza.
