Feel the beat of summer in the heart of Downtown L.A. when The Music Center’s legendary free Dance DTLA series returns to Jerry Moss Plaza! Gather with thousands of Angelenos and dancing fanatics for seven unforgettable Friday nights of music, movement and open-air dance parties under the stars at L.A.’s performing arts center. Everyone—from first timers to seasoned dance floor regulars—is invited to learn vibrant dance styles, including salsa, reggaeton, disco, cumbia, Afrobeats and Bollywood, with free, beginner-friendly lessons taught by some of L.A.’s top dance artists and instructors. After each lesson, the plaza transforms into a giant outdoor dance party with live DJs spinning late into the night. Absolutely no dance experience necessary—just bring your energy!
The 22nd season of The Music Center’s Dance DTLA launches June 26 with a special ¡DALE! Fútbol Watch Party of the Spain vs. Uruguay game streamed live, beginning at 5:00 p.m., on the plaza’s giant LED screens before the dance party begins. Opening night of Dance DTLA will be the ultimate celebration for soccer fans and dance lovers!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite. No outside alcohol is permitted.
