There’s nothing like seeing Chuck D and Flavor Flav take the stage to celebrate 20 years in the game. Sure, they performed their classics, “Shut ’Em Down” and “Don’t Believe the Hype,” and Flav shined on “911 Is a Joke” and “Can’t Do Nuttin’ for Ya Man.” But it was the energy, the passion and the antics that made this show historical.

A vibrant Chuck D bounced around the stage in shorts, barking out every line to every speaker-rattling song. Flav treated us to his signature spastic dance, and even pulled his two sons onstage to accompany him.

Anthrax’s Scott Ian joined the group onstage. Adding to an already awesome band, the three looked like they were having a ball.

The group’s DJ, Lord, had tricks up his sleeve for his solo set. And even Mike Tyson was on hand to enjoy the festivities.
