This year it seems that every marketable pop star has a brand new Yuletide CD of their very own. So it’s only natural that Clay Aiken, the multi-platinum, award-winning artist who’s been everywhere since his "American Idol" breakout, delivers Merry Christmas With Love under your tree.

Aiken’s Christmas album is reminiscent in voice and style to that of Barry Manilow’s 2003 Christmas release. The seasonal tunes include classics such as "O, Holy Night" and "Joy to the World," as well as the contemporary jingles such as "Don’t Save it all for Christmas Day" and the album’s title track. Aiken’s vocals especially soar on "Mary, Did You Know," the album’s most outstanding track.

The "American Idol" runner-up is definitely a winner with this holiday offering that will certainly be an album that will live on, year after holiday year. Who would have thought it from the skinny, red-haired kid with the crooked smile and crooner’s voice?
