Not only is this the third release from Seattle’s very own musical prodigies, it’s also their most divine and musically explored album to date. Following their second release, The Question, which captivated fans with integrity and honesty, it was a tough one to top. Yet they manage to amaze.

I’m Only a Man steps in a new direction, using influences from a wide variety of musical genres. Though there are some bad intros and dragged out instrumentals, this is a well put together album. As a fan of Emery’s older music, it’s easy to see that the band’s singers, Toby Morell and Devin Shelton, spent a lot of time in the studio creating a more powerful range of vocals.
