In the end, what this flick focusing on the creative designs and ideas of Jacque Fresco – touted here as a modern-day Leonardo da Vinci – amounts to is almost 90 monotone minutes of the aging futurist lamenting what he “could have/should have” done.

His body of work is impressive. It’s the film’s production values that are almost unbearable.
