There seems to be an aversion to watching a series of short films in a theater, but the experience is brilliant. It’s not much different from watching a variety show like “Saturday Night Live” or a talk show like David Letterman’s. If anything, you get so much more for your money.
The key difference here is that the vignettes come from all over the world, cover many different topics and elicit a variety of emotional responses. Each is a concentrated presentation of the creator’s vision.
You might laugh or cry, or ponder their meaning, but each will affect you. More than any mainstream blockbuster, you will be talking about these for days and days.
