This collection includes 10 tales of Batman’s showdowns with D.A. Harvey Dent turned coin-tossing maniac Two-Face. It’s a solid collection divided, of-course, into two parts: Classic Chronicles, including comics from the ’40s-’50s, and Modern Masterpieces from the Denny O’Neil ’70s to 2006.

The Classics are mainly enjoyable as a time capsule, being too dated for most (besides diehards) to find entertaining. The Modern entries are all pretty solid, but include one chapter of the “Face the Face” saga already collected in its own trade paperback.

The collection also includes a bonus Two-Face origin story, but seeing as it is recapped ad nauseam in each of the chapters, it seems superfluous.
