Cult director John Waters hosts this CourtTV show in which true stories of mariticide are re-enacted. The show aims for campy irreverence and black humor, but it’s never quite funny and often somewhat cheesy. It feels like a “Tales from the Crypt” episode – diverting enough to stop you channel surfing, but not really worth dedicated viewing.

This set includes 13 episodes of the show’s first season. If you find humor in Waters’ host being dubbed the Groom Reaper, it may be worth checking out.
