With only a few days left until the Closing Ceremony, there’s light at the end of the tunnel for all you Olympic junkies. What will you do when there are no longer Michael Phelps, Shawn Johnson or Redeem Team events to watch?
You can pretend to be them! With “Beijing Olympics 2008,” the official video game of the Olympics, you can compete in 38 events – from table tennis to gymnastics – and relive all the excitement in simulated versions of the Bird Nest and Water Cube.
This game could leave you feeling like you just ran around a track a few times, especially after the rapid button mashing needed for the track and swimming races. The difficulty level is high and the quality of the graphics is lacking, but this is a must-have for any Olympics fanatic.
“Beijing Olympics 2008” is currently available.
