Seattle punk-rock band, Fall From Grace delivers their first album since winning a one million dollar recording contract on Fuse TV’s reality show, “Bodog Music Battle of the Bands.” The result is a clashing combination of angst and calm amidst scorching guitars, pounding drumbeats and mood-varying vocals.

Sifting Through the Wreckage is exactly what the four-man band did as they overcame incredible personal tragedy during their music journey to come out victorious. Knowing the band’s complex back story and inspiring triumph before listening to the CD enhances the message of the album and just makes songs like “Hated Youth” and “Covered in Scars” more understandable. The somber “Wake Up My Friend” is one of the best tracks on the album, with strong focus on vocals and meaning.
