Norwegian comic artist Jason’s early work (previously unreleased in the United States) is collected here. The titular novella-length thriller accompanies many of Jason’s short early works, which demonstrate his evolving style, from realistic to his now famous anthropomorphic creations.

These works are like the narrative equivalent of the non sequitur, with random observations and absurdist humor mixed with pastiches of American pop culture, from the gangster movie to sci-fi serials to Hemingway. Also included are a color section of painted covers from Jason’s magazine Mjau Mjau, color strips and more.
