Malin is another very talented singer-songwriter, who for the best of efforts just can’t seem to break through to the big time. For years he rocked hard as the voice of D Generation, taking his inspiration from the gritty streets of New York. As a solo artist he’s sort of “unplugged” his act both musically and lyrically, now favoring an acoustic sound that better emphasizes his distinctive vocals and toning down the stories about junkies, hookers and other denizens of the dark side.

This album is a live effort that was recorded in late 2007, and it features fan favorites like “Broken Radio,” “Cigarettes & Violets” and a poignant cover of Neil Young’s “Helpless.”
