“It feels good to be home, but you know what else feels good? My president is black!” stated the exuberant Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. The Keyclub opened its doors Nov. 13 to Spin magazine for an evening of memorable music. Opening the night was One Block Radius, who got the show started with a dope set topped off with their hit single “You Got Me.” OBR paved the way for what would come to be one of the most intense shows I’ve seen in a while. Gym Class Heroes came out and wasted no time getting the crowd jumpin’ with “I’m Home.” They continued the hype by performing their hits “Guilty As Charged,” “Viva La White Girl” and “Cupid’s Chokehold”; they even covered The Zombies “Time of the Season.” They closed out the set with a surprise guest appearance by T-Pain, who not only performed “Cookie Jar” with Gym Class, but also his hit “Can’t Believe It.” The night also saw the announcement of the T-Wayne tour, which will consist of T-Pain, Lil’ Wayne, Keyshia Cole and Gym Class Heroes.
