While working full time as an adult during the day and attending school in the evening, Geoffrey Schmidt earned his undergraduate degree at Northeastern Illinois University and his Master of Business Administration degree at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He later completed a C.P.A. exam and wrote this book.

Some of the prominent topics discussed include time management, school motivation, financial aid, choosing the right major, adult education programs and getting a job in your field.

However, the most intriguing chapter is 12, Many Levels Left to Climb. The chapter deals with both identifying and rewarding oneself because of the college success achieved, whether it was in undergraduate or graduate work. More importantly, it offers an epiphany to the reader because it highlights the fact that there are many levels left to climb.
