While listening to Nathen Maxwell and the Original Bunny Gang’s White Rabbit I felt completely at ease. With elements of ska and Maxwell’s calm vocal demeanor, I couldn’t help but daydream of the perfect beach trip, during which I would ride my bike towards the coast, with a surfboard in arm and nothing on my mind but the clarity of my own thoughts enhanced by Maxwell’s smooth and relaxed voice.

Hints of the Sublime and traces of Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” are speckled throughout the album, but Maxwell and the Original Bunny Gang’s originality overshadows any musical resemblances. Totally cool, calm and collected: White Rabbit is sure to be the new replacement for the stress ball.
