Good TV is challenging to watch for any number of reasons, and “Entourage,” which follows the adventures of a rising Hollywood star and his hangers-on from the old neighborhood, is no exception. The challenge, in this case, is to enjoy a show that, arguably, lacks a single truly likeable character as well as the kind of irony normally needed to make such a thing bearable. Compelling writing and some good escapist storytelling can do wonders.

“Entourage” doesn’t belong up there with HBO’s best, but it still makes for some really good TV. Includes eight episodes (three with commentary), plus cast and crew interviews.
