Loosely based on Chris Rock’s life, the sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” is full of laughs as the show takes us on a journey through Rock’s life as a teenager growing up in 1980s Brooklyn. In Everybody Hates Chris – The Second Season, we see him lose his throne as class president, mislead his fellow classmates and continue to make enemies with his tormenter.

Rock, the eldest of three siblings, lives in a tough neighborhood with strict parents. When he is taken out of his comfort zone in Brookyln and bussed to a predominately white junior high, life becomes more challenging each day.

The DVD is loaded with deleted scenes and commentary from the cast. What’s more, Rock’s narration in each episode includes references to recent events that make watching it more enjoyable.
