Journey to 10,000 BC explores the Clovis era of North American history and presents the newer theories regarding the arrival of humans on the continent as well as the impact of the Ice Age and subsequent periods of intense climate change. While the impact of climate changes past and present might be a hot topic right now, this documentary does very little other than scratch the surface of many new hypotheses.

What’s more, the production is shoddy with laughable animated beasts that share scenes with superimposed actors who are equally unbelievable. It’s an interesting time in history, of which new information and ideas surface regularly, however this documentary will do little to excite even the most enthusiastic prehistory diehard with its bland presentation of otherwise intriguing ideas.
