After waiting nearly 20 years for a reunion from Heathers scribe Daniel Waters and actress Winona Ryder, Sex and Death 101 is the best they can do? At the time of its release, Heathers seemed like an upwelling of new and ferocious talent, which also included director Michael Lehmann and actors Shannen Doherty and Christian Slater.

Where are they all now? Apparently concerning themselves with lame, uninspired, desperate works like Sex and Death 101.

The supposedly ironic, misogynist plot follows a soulless executive as he tackles a mysterious e-mail that compels him to sleep with a long and boring list of women. Any existential promise contained in the idea gets derailed by the pedestrian and flat execution.
