The second full-length feature spin-off of Sci-Fi Channel’s fecund “Stargate SG-1,” Continuum brings back all the old faces, including Richard Dean Anderson and Beau Bridges, as well as all of the usual sharp writing and production values.

System Lord Baal travels back in time to prevent the Stargate program from ever being started. Now the SG-1 team travels through an alternate timeline, in which Carter is supposed to be a dead astronaut and Colonel O’Neill never met Daniel Jackson. They must somehow restore history.

Fans of the series should enjoy it.
