The Mushi are mysterious spirits that populate our world, unseen except by a few. Ginko is a Mushi Master (something like a spiritual Fox Mulder).

He investigates cases of human contact with Mushi. Some are cursed by them, others wield them.

It’s a haunting, enigmatic anime. Its plaintive tone and deliberate pacing make for challenging watching, but a hint at greater mystery keeps you engaged.
