The musical numbers are hilarious, following in the footsteps of avant-garde musicals like Moulin Rouge and Velvet Goldmine by using popular songs in a new context. Pirouetting garbage men and a knocked-up chorus line make for some memorable moments.
Deleted scenes and a documentary offered up on the DVD version offer some insight into how much fun the cast and crew must have had making this bizarre piece and for once are actually worth viewing.
