This BBC series by Lynda La Plante, creator of the popular “Prime Suspect,” takes the form of “Law & Order,” following a crime from its inception to the investigation to the prosecution. With high production values, sharp writing and acting from stars David Hayman (Sid and Nancy) and Kate Buffery (“Wish Me Luck”), it’s a riveting and convincing drama.
