USC's battle against the sanctions toward the football team has come to its end, as the NCAA Committee on Infactions denies the team's appeal. The sanctions call for the obliteration of 30 scholarships and bars the team from participating in a postseason bowl for two years. To make matters worse, the team is limited to signing 15 players to scholarships for the future three seasons, 10 less than the average for other college teams.
