The Los Angeles City Council has approved the ticketing of skateboarders who are speeding or reckless. On Aug. 7, the Council unanimously voted in favor of an ordinance that seeks to put an end to "bombing hills," skateboarders' intentional speed runs that sometimes involve weaving through automobile and pedestrian traffic, according to a report published by ESPNLosAngeles.com.
