It is no longer a secret. On Tuesday, the Denver-based Anschutz Co. indicated that it will hold a process to sell Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG).  AEG owns the Staples Center arena, the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, Major League Soccer's L.A. Galaxy and a stake in the L.A. Lakers.

No formal bids have been presented of yet, but they are expected to be in the billions of dollars range. One potential bidder is Patrick Soon-Shiong, 59. He is a doctor, biotech investor and philanthropist who owns a minority share in the Lakers. Forbes has estimated his net worth at $7.2 billion.
