USC implemented its plan for heightened nighttime campus security this week, which will reserve entrance to students and registered guests after 9 p.m. The security measures came after two shooting incidents in the past year, leaving two students dead and four wounded. Although students seem to have varied attitudes toward the new regulations, it is evident that the enforcement will come with some backlash from the surrounding community, which has already begun to voice resentment in regards to the new inconvenience.
