Student loan debt is getting worse. According to a story from the Los Angeles Times, the average student-loan debt jumped to $27,253 last year, up 58% from $17,233 in 2005. The findings come from a report  by FICO Labs, a unit of Fair Isaac Corp., which publishes consumer credit scores.
