Any Alice Cooper fan will truly enjoy this bizarre remnant, a snapshot in time, if you will, of 1973 rock ‘n’ roll madness. Good to See You Again was originally released for late night runs and eventually a short-lived mainstream run after the Billion Dollar Babies Tour, which was the first large arena tour the Alice Cooper Band ever embarked on as a headlining act.

Cooper was his usual drunken self (usual for those days) although, on his commentary track, he says he always pretended to be more drunk than he actually was. As often as he drank onstage, fans may be saddened to know that he only consumed soda while performing. But he was of course still very, very, very … very drunk.

Cooper performs an amalgamation of hits (new hits at the time, classics now) in between frivolously cheesy comedy scenes intended to formulate a plot of sorts. The footage shows the original band putting on one hell of a show for one hell of a crowd.

The Amazing Randy takes part in the stage show as a psycho dentist drilling Cooper’s cavity during "Unfinished Sweet." Original superstars Neal Smith, Glenn Buxton, Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce all play flawlessly as Cooper goes on to publicly dream of a giant walking tooth, which he is set on trying to brush with the help of a giant toothbrush and tube of toothpaste.

Then, we cut to a scene of Cooper chasing the tooth through the streets of Texas because what was happening on the stage was, allegedly, too obscene to show in order to maintain a PG rating. During this phase, Cooper actually speaks to his audience, which is unusual these days. The film scenes in between the concert scenes are ... awful and stupid, really, but fun just because of what it is. And it’s good to see that Cooper still rocks even harder now than he did in 1973.
