I arrived at the Grove of Anaheim under the impression that Soul Live would begin at 8 p.m. Instead, I patiently waited for two hours while listening to two opening acts before hearing the three-piece melodic band I had come to see.

The lights finally dimmed, fans rushed to the front of the stage and the spotlights shined on Soul Live. Standing room only at the venue allowed fans to release their energy by dancing the night away to the soulful sounds of Soul Live, which put on a beautiful performance and played instrumental sounds until ’round midnight.
