The Troubadour is always a colorful place to see live acts. On Jan. 25 three inspired acts took the stage.

Princeton was the first. They had a very playful Beach Boys-esque attitude.

Kárin Tatoyan and her band were up next and owned it. Tatoyan started her singing sitting hunched over onstage. Her powerful Björk-like vocals cut through the crowd like a serrated knife.

Then came the ethereal lo-fi sounds of headliners Au Revoir Simone. The love-themed songs were just perfect and right in time for Valentine’s Day.
