Tonight was definitely proof that hip-hop is not dead! D.C. native, Wale, alongside left coast rising talents U-N-I (MTV Breakout Artist of 2008) and Long Beach native Blu, gave his L.A. fans a night to remember.

U-N-I got the party started performing cuts off their recent mixtape release Before There Was Love, as well as songs from their upcoming Ro Blvd. produced release, A Love Supreme.

The night was filled with guest appearances from Los Angeles’ best, including up and comers Three-1-Zero, El Prez, C-San, Casey Veggies, H.O.P.E, Evidence of Dilated People’s, Bishop Lamont, Warren G, even Xzibit was there!

Blu hit the stage to chants of “B-L-U” and completely destroyed his set with Exile.

To close the evening, Wale showed the crowd how to party. Accompanied by his 10-piece band complete with conga player, Wale performed two new singles, “Chillin” and “Pretty Girls,” off his upcoming album, as well as crowd favorite “W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E.”
